Uk Women in Fisheries Shortlisted for Fishing News Innovation of the Year Award 2023

We are delighted to announce that UK Women in Fisheries has been shortlisted after being nominated for the Fishing News Awards ‘Innovation of the Year 2023’ .

This nomination means so much to us and will help us continue to build a platform that supports and encourages women in the fishing industry. The nomination shows how much the industry values the work being carried out by women, from the wives and partners helping with the books, to those working in the seafood factories, to the quota managers and fishery association representatives. It’s so lovely for this hard work to be acknowledged and to see UK WIF being recognised as the innovator it is.
