Booking now open for FREE online sessions on rights, harassment and culture in UK fisheries
Fisheries can be a tough place to work, long hours, bad weather and tight margins are part of the daily rhythm. What should never be part of it is harassment, coercion, unpaid labour or feeling unsafe at work.
This February, EJB Coaching is hosting two FREE online sessions for UK Women in Fisheries Members and friends of the network,on rights, safety and workplace culture for people working across the UK fisheries and seafood sector, including catching, processing, aquaculture, science, management, supply chains and shoreside roles.
We’re proud to be partnering with Emma Mark, founder of EJB Coaching. Emma brings over a decade of experience in senior maritime leadership and now specialises in workplace culture, safety and sexual assault and harassment (SASH) across the maritime sector. She is widely respected for delivering practical, scenario‑based training rooted in real working environments.
EJB Coaching became a delivery partner in Dec 2025, helping to bring UK Women in Fisheries to life by supporting key elements of membership including webinars and training sessions.
We’re especially grateful that
Emma is sharing her time and expertise to support our communities. As more women enter the commercial fisheries space in a multitude of different roles, safeguarding everyone - women and men - is critical, particularly at a time when the global maritime sector continues to report concerning levels of sexual harassment and assault.
These sessions are shaped by real stories and are designed to be accessible, practical and relevant to the realities of life within our seafood spaces.
