Interrupting Anxiety - Beam Training

This workshop will help you understand anxiety better, learning the symptoms of anxiety and the different types of classified anxiety disorders. It will then give you tools and techniques to manage your own anxiety and also help others struggling with anxiety, plus look at panic attacks and how to help yourself or someone else manage them.

Outcomes 

By the end of this session, you will: 

  • Understand what anxiety is and how to recognise if it has become an issue 

  • Know that anxiety presents differently in us causing a whole host of different symptoms 

  • Recognise the different anxiety disorders as highlighted by MIND and know how to get further help and support with them 

  • Have five everyday tools to help manage their own anxiety 

  • Have ways to help support someone with anxiety 

  • Understand the impact of panic attacks and know how to help 

  • Know where to get further help and support
