Moving Through Stress -Beam Training

This one hour workshop is designed to help you to understand the psychology, neuroscience and behavioural science behind stress and how it impacts our behaviour. Learning the difference between our primitive stress responses and how stress impacts us today. 

 

Overview 

  • Understanding the stressed out brain 

  • Recognise three key parts of the brain and how they can affect our thoughts and behaviour 

  • Know how the '5 F's of stress' change our behaviour

  • Recognise what is in your stress bucket and how to have healthier coping mechanisms 

  • Learn why it is important to know how to complete the stress cycle 

 

Outcomes 

By the end of this session, you will: 

  • Know why we become emotionally hijacked and how to manage that 

  • Know how to identify if others are emotionally hijacked and how to manage that Identify your own stress responses 

  • Be able to manage their inner chimp better 

  • Know how stress can gather and overwhelm us 

  • Have proven ways to complete the stress cycle
